   My name is Steffany Predosa, and I am the elementary school counselor for Constantine Public Schools.  I have a Master's in Counseling, and over ten years experience in human services and education.  I grew up in the desert in Southern California and moved to Michigan in 2003.  In 2010 my family and I moved to Constantine, and I started here at Eastside Elementary and Riverside Elementary.  I work in both buildings every day, and I also coordinate the Constantine Friday Backpack Program.  

   I am available to help ensure student academic and social success.  I provide short, solution-focused therapeutic interventions, as well as social skills and other mental health small group related activities in the school setting.  I work with local agencies and law enforcement to provide additional educational opportunities when I am able to.  I also work with teachers and administrators to provide effective academic and behavioral interventions for students who are struggling.  For families who may need additional support in providing for their student, I can make referrals, as well as provide assistance in acquiring help from local social service agencies. 

   I feel very blessed to have a chance to live and work here in Constantine.  I think it gives me a better understanding of the needs of our students, and makes me work harder to do well for our families, our schools, and the community as a whole.
